WPR RV weekend

#2 has mentioned having a WPR RV weekend somewhere this summer in place of the BBQ.  I think this is a great idea since of course we can have BBQ at the camp site!  I think between all of us we have more than enough RV's to accommodate everyone's family.

Let's pick a local camping area (maybe Lake Dennison) and a date and get this plan scheduled.  How about the weekend of July 28-29?

Love the idea. 7/28-7/29 the 1101 family RV will be at the Cape. 7/7-7/8 or 7/14-7/15 would work.

You picked two weekends I can't go.  7/7-7/8 is Limerock (which hopefully you were going to try to make) so I know #2 and me are busy; and I leave for vacation the next weekend and return the following.

I am looking for something to do 8/4-8/5 with the boys.

I just booked #128 so were neighbors.  I did the same and booked Sunday nite so hopefully we'll have a nice hot day on Sunday to go swimming.

I picked up my brand new battery and it's fully charged so I am ready for a non-powered site this year.  I got a Trojan Deep Cycle 24 10" unit.  Mr. Markham of Dunn Battery assures me this is a top notch all-purpose deep cycle battery and should give good performance with proper maintenance.  I also bought a hygrometer and I have no idea how this thing works but I will learn so I can be sure I am maintaining a good battery.

Now I must start my roof project.  I am using #1101's design specifications of a dual laminated marine plywood truss.  The old soggy piece was removed last fall before she went into storage so there is no turning back on this project.

I will definately start a different post once that project is underway since it will require much updating as the season progresses.

Wish me luck!!!!!  See you all at the WPR Weekend.  Well done Pres.
