In attendance #'s: 19, 43 , 5.
Mileage: don't know, odometer didn't work.
Locale: Pumping Sta.

Warning, the mosquitos at the drop point are now in quantities and aggressiveness that will pick you up and carry you away so keep small children and animals tied down.

Started off on the "road" and headed first to "10's" hill.  Tried to impress the kids asking if they wanted to see their old man rip up the big hill - got a resounding yeah!  I only got about halfway up - evidently the screaming 200 and little bitty 100/100 rear tire just aren't enough umph for that soft climb.

Wanting an easier ride for 43 this time, I tried to stay in the well established trails.  most lead into narrower root filled trails, these once again proved too much for the little 10" wheels or whatever they are.  they just don't roll over things, so he crosses up often.  this takes away his confidence and then the pleas to head back to the big trails come.  can't blame him.

on the other hand, #19 gets the most improved rider mention for this ride.  I'll tell you, for all my doubts, nothing stops that kid.  he's really at home on 4 wheels.  he's already telling me techniques that he uses to get through certain obstacles.  I didn't help him once the whole day.  and his pace was much improved.  I had to tell him to leave more room when following 43 which was not the case at all the first ride out.  he is already loving riding in the trails and is constantly asking when the next time we're going.  I'm liking this a lot.

looking to go out again, 6/2 should be good.  I wonder when I'll get out with adult riders again.  for now, this is great.
