As I look back on the '05 dirt season, I am filled with fond memories with great riding friends. I love this sport. riding is among my most treasured things in life. it gives me pure joy. I am grateful and amazed that I have good people to still get out with and that many times I can't even make it due to my schedule!
but, now we are at the time to put away the two-wheelers and pull out the two-skiers. I am saddened to think that I won't be riding bar-to-bar with my dirty buddies for 4+ months as we head to northern riding. I beg you, start putting your pennies in a jar so you can purchase a snow machine to put between your legs! it is a different world on the snow side. everything is white for one. but the feeling you get leaning out over the snow at 70mph, your outside ski grabs hold and you roll on the throttle is something that you just can't experience on the bike. first of all if you were ever going 70mph on a dirt bike you would probably soon be looking at the face of God. in other words, it wouldn't be a good feeling.
but on the snow, my ride has 114HP and 12 inches of suspension travel that gives you the surge of adrenaline second to none. one thing is for sure, you will never look at soft flurries gently floating down to the ground and staying there the same again!
#1101, in the words of my 4 year old "you are a poop-head" for selling your machine. you have trails out your back door, shame on you!
# 5, #1101 Never went north with us so the back yard riding stuff just got old, Maybe, we can get him to do a day trip with us this year so he can see what snowmobiling really has to offer.
